Dye Sublimation

Dye Sublimation and direct to textile printing is the fastest growing area of the industry. This is being driven mainly by:

  1. Green issues and the drive to reduce the volume of PVC based display materials destined for landfill.
  2. The increased requirement to recycle wherever possible.
  3. The desire to reduce the harmful VOCs released into the atmosphere from Solvent ink systems.
  4. The increased display flexibility available from polyester based fabrics.
  5. The increased colour vibrancy achievable from dye sublimation inks when compared to solvent and UV curing ink systems.

QPS stock dye sublimation inks suitable for both dye sublimation, via heat transfer paper and direct to substrate printing.

NAZDAR Lyson TX6500 Water based Dye Sublimation Series

LYSON TX6500 Water based Dye Sublimation Series inkjet ink is for use on Epson 9000/9600/9800, Mimaki TX2/JV4/JV22, Mutoh RJ6100/RJ8000, Viper printers, and other bulk feed wide format (greater than 42” wide) inkjet printers. LYSON TX6500 series inks are not intended for narrow format or desktop inkjet printing systems.

The primary features of these inks are as follows:

  • Heat transfer printing on a wide variety of substrates PVC, Polyester for Polymer coated (loaded) material
  • Excellent start-up and runability
  • Wide gamut space allowing for PANTONE colour simulations
  • Wash resistance gives long term colour durability
  • Good UV fade resistance
  • Consistent colour density for long runs
  • Permanently fixed post cure

SUBSTRATES:
PVC, Polyester rich fabrics (greater than 65%), Nylon 6.6 or Polymer coated substrates. For use on textiles, pre-coated ceramics, metals and plastics.
