The new ColorPainter W series mild solvent inkjet printers from Seiko are available in two sizes, the W-64s 64" wide, and the W-54s 54" wide.  There are also two colour configurations for both sizes, the 4 colour type for lower running costs and 6 colour type for better image quality. The combination of 6 new high speed print heads, two types of ink and several new innovative printing functions will increase the printer’s performance and widens the printer’s application range for the signage and digital printing market.

The high density inks use fewer carriers and more pigment so each dot is sharp, providing better clarity and detail, even in the dark areas.

The high density inks not only give better definition and detail in shadow areas and rich dense blacks but also typically show a 40% saving in ink consumption when compared directly to the Mimaki JV33.

Revolutionary IX Ink

Choose from Seiko's original low-solvent GS ink with exceptional outdoor durability and super-fast print times or use the revolutionary new IX Ink with no hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).  Both inks come in reloadable ink cartridges to eliminate cartridge recycling and landfill waste.

New Advanced High-Speed Piezo Print head

The new Seiko print head used in the W-series printers is a high frequency head using single phase firing. This means that all nozzles can fire simultaneously to give improved dot placement and reduced overspray.

Dynamic Dot Printing Technology

Dynamically processing 3 different drop sizes to automatically maximise image quality and maintain proper colour density, dynamic dot printing technology produces outstanding image quality at the highest speeds with less grain.

Smart Pass Technology 3

Seiko's next generation uses the most advanced algorithms and improved dot patterns to reduce overspray and eliminate pass to pass banding.

Smart Nozzle Mapping

The innovative nozzle compensation function re-maps clogged nozzles so you can continue to print with no loss of image quality or speed. This function is available to the operator to use on site.

CP Manager
The CP manager software allows you to monitor printer status, change temperature settings, check ink levels or see suggested maintenance.

The Seiko ColorPainter W-series comes with a 2 year warranty which includes the print heads.
